Authors at Work Competition 2016 by Keele University, entries by pupils at Madeley High School have been published in this edition of Collected Stories: living with a disability. Illustrations by Laura Green, design by Reach, Asist advocacy services. Proceeds from the sale of the book go to the Donna Louise Hospice.

Getting Your Voice Heard, Nov 2014

We organised and facilitated an event in Stafford, attended by over 90 people with learning disabilities and carers to inform the Health and Social Care Self Assessment Framework. We asked people for their ideas and experiences about dignity and respect in health and social care services, and support for carers. Funded by Stoke-on-Trent city council, Staffordshire county council and CCGs in Stoke and Staffordshire.

Understanding Autism

The 15 minute ‘Understanding Autism’ film has been commissioned by Staffordshire County Council and Stoke on Trent City Council. The film was developed and produced by Keele University, Reach and ASIST Advocacy,Capture Media Company and Insight Autism Consultancy. It is based around the experiences of people with autism, parents and professionals.
