The Communication Toolkit was developed by Keele University and Asist Advocacy Services in partnership for Birmingham Children’s Hospital and others. This toolkit is now being shared with Great Ormond Street Hospital to help communication with children, young people & families where there is a learning disability.
Making a difference together toolkit has been shortlisted for an award in two separate categories, Learning disability nursing and also in the category Nursing in the community.

I am delighted to tell you that the Making a Difference Together: Developing a Toolkit to Promote Equality of Healthcare for People with a Learning Disability developed Keele by University in collaboration with Asist has been shortlisted in the Learning Disabilities Nursing category.
